Joining me in the studio is Sarah Brandt from the Rochester Area Family Y. Yes, I am wearing mittens.
The devastation in the Philipines is just unfathomable. I had an opportunity to talk with Biv Malibago and Yvette Hoyme from the Rochester Philipine-American Association. Biv will be heading to the Philipines to assess conditions and needs there and be back in time for a benefit fundraiser at Century High School December 22nd. More details will be posted on the Phil-Am website. Here's our conversation ~

I was probably one of the three people that watched John Rich's reality series a few years ago, where he turned celebrities like Maureen McCormack Country. He has a new show called Rich At Night. Will you check it out?
I guess time really does heal all wounds. Nicole Kidman opens up in the December issues of Vanity Fair and Australia's Harper's Bazaar magazines about her divorce from Tom Cruise and her 2003 Oscar win. She said that her win for playing author Virgina Woolf was a chance to move on in her life. She met Keith Urban in 2005 and they've been married since 2006.
Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch are at the Target Center with Keith Urban in January! Julie Jones has tickets for the show! Here's Karen Fairchild, stepping in for Miranda Lambert, on We Were Us...

Justin Timberlake wants to win Best Country Album Sunday at the American Music Awards. That's right, he wants to win Best Country Album. I've not had a chance to listen to the entire album, but apparently he does have a "Country" song on it, called Drink You Away. It's Country, because it's a drinking song, and we all know that drinking songs are Country songs, right? Do you think this is a Country song?
It's A Wonderful Life was not a box-office hit. It was only because the film enterred the public domain, and could be shown annually at Christmas that it became a cult-favorite and family classic. Variety is reporting that a sequel is being developed for Christmas 2015. It will center around George Bailey's (Jimmy Stewart) grandson and feature 76-year-old Karolyn Grimes - the actress that played youngest daughter Zuzu in the original - and, the actor that played Tommy Bailey, one of George's sons. 2015 is already crowded with Star Wars VII, Avengers 2 and Superman vs. Batman. The only way this movie could be successful is if featured either zombies, or the possible total destruction of Bedford Falls by aliens building a Death Star.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are happily married, thank you very much. The couple spent their weekend in Las Vegas entertaining fans with their Soul2Soul show at The Venetian, and as usual, they ended the show with a kiss.
When asked about the continuous rumors that their marriage is coming to an end, Faith told People.com, "I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story."
Tim and Faith are back in Nashville for the holidays with their three daughters. Then it's back to The Venetian Theatre in mid-January.
Here is one of their signature songs, "It's Your Love".

Florida Georgia Line will be performing December 10th on the America Music Awards...along with Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Darius Rucker, Joe Nichols, Chris Young and Sheryl Crow. The awards show will be hosted by Trace Adkins and Danica Patrick just a couple days before Trace loads up the sleigh to roll into the Civic Center with his Christmas Show. Have you enterred to win your tickets with Julie Jones yet?
