A country singer has been recruited as a guest mentor on the upcoming season of The Voice, but she won't be joining Team Blake Shelton. Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott has been tapped by Adam Levine to help out his team come Season 4.
Adam told Access Hollywood, "I was so happy that Hillary was interested in coming on The Voice to mentor my team. Maroon 5 and I recorded a song with her for our last studio album and we had a great time collaborating in the studio. She is an incredible performer and artist. I know my team will be able to learn a lot from her."
Hillary added, "I'm sure (we'll have) way more fun than Blake's team!"
The Voicewill premiere on March 25th at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
Blake has already recruited Sheryl Crow to join him as guest mentor during the new season.
Adam and Blake will be joined by new mentors Usher and Shakira, who are replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
