Blake Shelton is going to make one of Army vet Brendan Marrocco's wishes come true. The wounded warrior recently became the first person to undergo a double-arm transplant, and he said he wanted his first handshake to be with Blake.

Brendan shared his story with a Kentucky TV station, including that handshake tidbit, and it made its way back to Blake via a tweet from one of Brendan's friends who linked to the story. Blake responded tweeting back, "Wow.. Speechless. I will make this happen!!"

Blake then posted a message directly to the soldier writing, "Hey Brendan @BMarr86.... I can't WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud... You my brother."

Brendan responded, "Holy mother of God!! I can't wait. I'm a huge fan and really looking forward to it. Thank you."

Brendan's double-arm transplant comes four years after he became the first serviceman to survive a quadruple amputation when his armored vehicle was bombed in Iraq.
